My Goals

Determination

This is just one way to describe my personality.
Ever since I was a little girl I've always been determined to do well, or try with anything.
It's probably the reason I still gained GCSE, A Levels throughout my illness.
It's most likely why I got accepted to all five universities I applied too.
And it's definitely why I beat 4000 people to 200 jobs at Walt Disney World in 2014.

Your goals can be small or large but it's important to have them - they keep you focused and make you thrive. More importantly when you've achieved them - you feel amazing.

At the start of my flare I lost alot of my independence - too poorly and fatigued to drive (and due to my eye sight) and walk, getting dressed was a daily fight and remembering simple tasks such as taking tablets, remembering names/dates etc was a constant battle. However, in my eyes mind over matter is an important part of recovery. I set my eyes on the future and began once again to make goals I used to make before my diagnosis.

It's important to remember with lupus start small to make them achievable.... then you can dream bigger as you get better.
