That's Hello in minion talk.
My name is Victoria and I'm 22 years old. I currently live in Leicestershire with my Parents, Part-time brother and most importantly my cat.
In October 2015 I became seriously ill - what I thought was a bad case of the flu turned into a hospital admission. After weeks of testing, and a doctor finally listening to the family history I was diagnosed with SLE.
In the past I have been misdiagnosed with Early Pain Syndrome (2007) - Yes I still haven't a clue and Fibromyalgia (2013). These are untrue. It has always been Lupus.
However, Lupus is not who I am, I just live with lupus. There's more to me than my illness so lets learn more...
I have a 2.1 degree in Film Studies and Media and Communication from De Montfort University. I have also completed an International College Programme for Walt Disney World. My current job is an admin assistant for my local council and my next goal is to achieve my masters!
I'm obsessed with topshop, I get really grumpy when i'm hungry (this was even before my steriod treatment!), I love to ski and fall is my favourite season. Celebrating is a huge part of my life - Christmas, Halloween, Birthdays - you name it. I like balloons over chocolate any day.
I've been with my boyfriend Tom (who on here I may also refer to as toulouse and shithead) for 6 and 1/2 years. He's been amazing before all of this happened and even more so through my diagnosis and recovery. Most importantly, he knows I love my cat more than him.....
And as for you guys.... any questions please ask - don't hesistate. I'm here to turn something negative into a more (if thats poss) experience for you all.
